Sunday Service

We meet together on a Sunday morning at 10:30am at the Link (formerly Community Centre) and you are welcome to come along to one of these gatherings or you can join us on Zoom, simply Contact Community Church Tadley or call 0118 212 0898 and speak to one of the team who will provide you with further details.

Worship

We normally start with our worship band leading us in sung worship using contemporary worship songs. Our worship is lively and includes singing, prayer, and giving thanks to God.

We believe in every member of the church playing a part in the life of the church. You will hear individual members talking about how God has been at work in their lives. Others will bring thoughts, words or poems to encourage others in the church.

Preaching

We are a Bible-believing church, so we normally follow our sung worship with a 20-30 minute sermon, usually by one of our own members or leaders. The meeting usually lasts until about 12:15, and we finish with time together over drinks and biscuits.

Other useful information

Other aspects of Sunday mornings include:

• On the first Sunday of the month we take an offering. Please don’t feel any obligation to give: our members support our church well!
• On the second Sunday of the month we have All Age Cafe’s Church with refreshments on arrival. It is a friendly, informal and interactive service.
• On the third Sunday of the month we have a regular service.
• On the fourth Sunday of the month we take communion together during the service. Everyone who is a follower of Jesus is welcome to join us in this, and to take part fully.
• On the fifth Sunday of the month we will have a more regular service

Children & Youth

• We operate separate groups for Children/Youth on the 1st and 3rd Sunday after sung worship.
• For Babies and Toddlers 0 – 4, a weekly Creche is available which is parent led with a Zoom Link to the main service.

Please do check the church calendar to be certain that we’re going to be meeting at The Link before coming along. There are four or five Sundays a year when we don’t meet there.

Your questions answered

Is there parking? Yes – there’s plenty of free parking in The Link car park and a car park opposite., however you will need to enter your registration number to one of the portals in Reception.

Is the building accessible? Yes – everything is on one level without steps, the doors are wide and there are disabled toilet facilities. We are used to having wheelchair users in our meetings.

Will there be communion? We normally take communion once a month, and welcome anyone with a Christian faith to join with us in that.

Will there be an offering? We take an offering once a month, on the first Sunday. We don’t expect visitors to contribute to that and there’s no need to feel embarrassed about that.

Is there a dress code? No – come as you are: everyone else does!

What time do you finish? We normally aim to finish our service between 12:00 – 12:15 followed by refreshments.
